We are in Newport until Sunday. Today went to the visitor center first then to Yaquina Head Lighthouse and drove up to the lighthouse. Those 138 steps showed me my legs need more exercise! The front of my thighs were "burning".
Then we went to "Georgie's" Restaurant overlooking the ocean - good food. Off again to see another lighthouse and the Chocolate Factory - it was not a factory, just a candy store but they did make their own chocolates & fudge.
Later the group met at a distillery nearby (the guys liked it), then to tour the Rogue Brewing Company and a dinner there, too.
